FAQ
What are signs of unhealed childhood trauma?
Anxiety, depression, difficulty forming relationships, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, intrusive memories, trust issues, self-destructive behavior, chronic stress, substance abuse, dissociation, sleep disturbances, somatic symptoms, and difficulty with boundaries.
I can’t change the past, but I can help change your relationship with it. Research consistently shows that those subjected to childhood maltreatment are considerably more likely to grapple with PTSD symptoms later in life.
Is having a childhood trauma abuse/resiliency/empowerment coach worth it?
That is for you to determine. There are millions of adults wandering aimlessly not living their authentic lives because, just like what happened to me, they simply don’t know how! You see, since it was their trauma personality guiding them which by definition is a lie, how can a lie lead you to finding happiness or living your passion and purpose? Many also have developed coping mechanisms and vices that mask the pain from the pain of formative trauma in their developmental years. I’ve found that most Trauma Transcenders want more from their life than never answering the question "What if I did try to break the chains of my Trauma?"

Why do I need a coach and what areas of trauma and child abuse do you focus on?
Anyone who has suffered severe abuse and neglect regardless of age should seek guidance from a qualified outside source they feel safe with and that can help them understand and navigate the implications and lasting effects of what they have experienced. I focus less on the abuse and trauma itself and more on how to understand and navigate its impacts on your life. I am present and future oriented, not ruminating on the trauma that occurred but rather seeking ways to make your life amazing now and for a lifetime.
Asking tough but non-judgmental questions about your behavior to help you understand the answers and help you formulate a plan to break through and walk across the bridge of hope to the other side where your new life is waiting!
What's the difference between a therapist and a trauma informed coach ?
Therapists will typically focus on pain areas of the past, use a passive/non-active approach, pathologize with a diagnostic, medical approach to determine a patient’s mental state through predetermined models. Therapy also takes a considerable amount of time and commitment. To find success in therapy can take years or decades.
A trauma informed coach works to discover who you are underneath your trauma identity and the key areas that keep you from moving forward. I will give you actionable tools for awareness and a profound understanding of yourself to create resiliency and empowerment with holistic trauma wellness in mind, body and essence. You will understand yourself better than you ever have and be able self-regulate in ways you never thought possible.
Therapists and coaches can also have a joint relationship. I can work with or in parallel with your therapist for approaching your healing from both directions. You always remain in control and have the choice on how to proceed.
How do you offer coaching?
Sessions are conducted online via Zoom.
What is the approach you use in your coaching?
My proprietary approach is called the Conscious Body / Integrated-Self; I examine you as a holistic human and enable you with the understanding of how trauma works from mind to body, how to recognize the signs and signals, interrupt patterns and take back your health and your well-being.
I am trained and certified in several Trauma Recovery and Somatic Coaching techniques. I use the methods I learned through decades of self-work, scientific research, countless trainings in Western and Eastern healing modalities to heal myself and provide help to countless others. I believe trauma is systemic and affects the complete person, mind, body and essence which is how I approach my coaching.
We will work closely to paint a picture of you without the burden of trauma which will open up a world found across the bridge of hope with endless possibilities for your future self.
You will work hard and be accountable for your actions and for keeping on track with your growth and enablement plan knowing that you are not alone and that I and the HopeBridge Collective community has your back.
How long will the therapy take?
Trauma Recovery is not a one size fits all. Our relationship will be one of mutual respect, trust and accountability but my objective is not to have you as a client forever. My healing and empowerment mission is to have you cross the bridge of hope with confidence, independence and owning the life you can love as quickly as possible. Our work together will chart that course, for some Trauma Transcenders, the process lasts a few sessions and others a few years.
How do I know if I’m ready and that you are the right coach for me ?
We'll start with a discovery call ….that I refer to as a “synergy session” and find out.
I look at our relationship as a synergy and energy exchange, and you must be willing to give your all so that I can do so in return. We must have the right connection and willingness to dedicate ourselves to the same path to be successful.
Coaching will not work for you if you are not committed to change and willing to do the work. There is no magic bullet to undue years of thoughts and patterns that don’t serve you but there IS HOPE and the ability to get to the other side of the bridge.
My mission is to be the catalyst to your success in your trauma healing journey. I am your healing advocate and your peer in this because I’ve walked in your shoes. Because I know your pain, I am non-judgmental and create a safe space for us to show up together and do the work with compassion and provide you with practical, grounded and supportive methods to help you shed your trauma identity and become the version of yourself you were meant to be.
What will happen in the trauma coaching sessions that I have with you?
Our sessions are based around your needs, and each session will evolve and adjust as necessary. The time we spend together is space held for you to continue your journey to be seen, heard and celebrated in your path to find your joy and cross the bridge of hope from childhood trauma.
What is the cost for your services?
We will discuss all the details on our first synergy session call, which is at no cost to you.
